You can install
other Android PDF apps but the problem is none are optimized for E Ink.

other ones mentioned below but they couldn't open my files properly or didn't have a good user interface.
Except reading on
other devices, you can also convert it to
other formats, for example, EPUB to
PDF, EPUB to Kindle, then you can read it on those devices (like Kindle, iPhone,
Android series) which are not compatible with EPUB.
The built - in reader doesn't have many features, but it does work well enough for light use, and there's always the option to install
other PDF apps thanks to the open
Android operating system.
The good thing the about the Illumina HD is that it runs
Android 4.2 and can install
other PDF reading apps.

I guess based on my own experienced, I would prefer using adobe
pdf for ebooks format because
pdf form is compatible I guess to every devices like on
android phones or
other e-reader.

Overall the program still needs work but is better than any
other free
Android PDF apps.
