Besides, it's not like the
other Mario characters you mentioned had little - to - no personalities and not to mention smaller fanbases than the

other in battle with all kinds of neat tricks and traps.

other characters get bumped out of games that could have otherwise been a suitable choice (

other battles where the player must hop between multiple levels of platforms to reach the boss.

koopalings seem to have be added at the expense of
other characters like Funky and Diddy Kong.
