It used to be just about possible to discuss court reform separately from
other access to justice issues such as online legal information and advice prior to issue of proceedings.

issue with complex elements related
to the lived experience of race, poverty and a host of
other considerations.
Widespread
access to legal information via the Internet may help close the
justice gap, but the profession has many
other access issues to address.
As part of its mandate
to protect the public interest, the Nova Scotia Barristers» Society is engaged in
access to justice issues across Nova Scotia, through its Equity Program and enhanced consultation with
other key players in the administration of

to be systematically collected from «the Ministry of Attorney General's Office, legal aid organizations and
other (non) law - related groups,» could measure the true impact of technologically based responses
to access to justice issues.
The national Action Committee on
Access to Justice in Civil and Family Matters notes in its final report that only about 6.5 % of legal problems ever make it
to court, but it is unlikely in the extreme that so many of the people with high school diplomas or less are bundled into the 93.5 % who manage
to resolve their legal
issues outside of court, especially when we know that for people with low incomes, legal
issues tend not come one at a time but cluster and multiply into
other areas of the law.
When are we going
to stop wasting time and oxygen on ABS and knuckle down and deal with the
access to justice problem that dwarfs all
other real and trumped up A2J
issues combined — the ruinous time and cost of litigation?
In
other words, the regulatory regime in Canada, as in Australian and the UK, is that legal services have
to be provided by expensive service providers — and people wonder why
access to justice is an
issue?
The

to provide information for people seeking a divorce, adoption, orders of protection, name change, and
other family law
issues.
Virtually everyone who has looked at
access to justice on a macro level recognizes that a continuum of resources and assistance should be available
to people facing legal
issues, starting with information and self - help resources on one end and full representation on the
other, with varying levels of assistance in between.

Justice will provide key services for individuals, communities and organizations that might otherwise not have
access to important legal representation due
to cost, the nature of the
issue or
other challenges.

issues other than simply that of
access to justice,

Encouragement We do, however, welcome the opportunity for discussion on this and all the

There are a number of factors which make managing A1C particularly difficult for teens including: Social pressures and responsibilities, motivation, personality, nutrition, substance use, sleep habits, brain re-structuring, defence mechanisms (such as denial and avoidance), social
justice issues (oppresion — racism), diabetes education, individuation, future - oriented culture,
access to health services, family structure and dynamic
issues, marital conflict between parents, family and friendship conflict with teen, mental health stigma, academic pressure and responsibility, limited mindfulness and somatic awareness, spirituality (especially concerning death), an under - developed ability
to conceptualize long - term cause and effect (this is developmentally normal for teens), co-parenting discrepencies, emotional inteligence, individuation, hormonal changes, the tendency for co-morbidity (people with diabetes can be more prone
to additional physical and mental health diagnosis), and many
