You'll be able to track all of your
airline, hotel, and
other loyalty program
accounts at once.
JetBlue said the new partnership means TrueBlue members will earn three program points for every eligible dollar spent on Amazon.com when the purchase is made through the
airline's in - flight Fly - Fi Internet service, or at
other times by clicking on an Amazon link when they sign into their
account at www.trueblue.jetblue.com.
Family pooling: When an
airline allows you to combine all the miles earned by members of a family or
other group into one frequent flyer
account.
There are
others who use Starpoints as a key component in their travel rewards strategy, buying or earning thousands, consolidating them in one
account, and then transferring them to any of a couple dozen
airline loyalty programs as needed to book a flight.
Some
airlines have an expiration date pegged to the original earning date of the miles (i.e. 18 months after the miles are accrued), while
others allow the miles to remain valid as long as your
