To lighten some of your
recipes from your
almond flour cookbook or from your site, I will use
almond flour and tapioca starch in conjunction with each
other.

recipe using
other flours, but if you can tolerate coconut
flour, that may work (if you want to play with the
recipe, start with much less coconut
flour because it absorbs more liquid than
almond flour).

flour require different moisture levels than many
other gluten free
flours, so just subbing them in will throw off a
recipe not originally written for them.

recipe without
almond flour, so I'm not sure what you'll be able to substitute
other than another nut
flour (like cashew or hazelnut — both can be found at Trader Joes if you have one near you).
It's just that my mom I helped each
other bake something of your

Because I do just about all of my
recipe writing using
almond flour, grapeseed oil (and agave), I really don't know how
other ingredients would work in place of these.
But as I expected, the
almond meal separated from the
other ingredients (I have had this happen in
other recipes — it does NOT substitute for
flour, since it does not absorb moisture in the same way) and created a jelly - like layer at the bottom of the cake (think «moist crust»).

I tried a different nut butter since he's not a fan of the texture of some

Almond, vanilla, and peppermint are high on my list of things to avoid but I've had success with most of your
recipes by subbing
