authentic learning experiences, project - based
learning, inquiry
learning, design thinking, and
other similar pedagogical approaches.
This serves several purposes related to Action and Expression: (1) it gives learners an
authentic audience, and (2) it helps
other makers
learn from their personal
experiences.
By using game - based
learning, students can
experience a real example of empathy, teachers can identify that moment, and then students can extend their
learning through application to
other authentic situations.
When you hear students discussing
learning with each
other, you know you have facilitated a truly
authentic experience!
