I think we each have a responsibility to think through and identify our own beliefs (which includes reading and learning about
other belief systems / religions).
They may very well have all sorts
of other beliefs about the universe, natural or supernatural.
But such conclusions constitute a natural theology in distinction from a philosophy only when they are brought into constructive relationship
with other beliefs derived from revelation.
I prefer to
respect others beliefs as long as they do me the favor of allowing me to believe in what I want to believe.
If you weren't a christian at this point in history, you likely remember it as being a somewhat intolerant time
for other belief systems.
It's strangely akin to the systematic destruction of

Being a denial of one belief does not

Have you figured out how to draw that line from «I'm an atheist» to «these people must die because they're not atheist» without adding in

Most western nations have learned to
except other beliefs and therefore have become better more tolerant places to live.
There is no discussion about this odd finding or
what other beliefs this odd group of people had, but it gets even better.
I claim that the Islam even worsens people instead of reforming them (Jihad, cruel slaughtering of animals, hate
against other beliefs and believers, etc.).
I can see where they are coming from as it seems christianity is priority
over other beliefs when displayed in this fashion.
I understand your desire to stand up for God, Jesus and His followers, but what you experience on this and
many other belief blogs are the words of a foolish people trying to engage you into circular conversations that can virtually go no where.
How about instead of
bashing other beliefs, or over-celebrating our own — we just celebrate the ending of a year with love?
