I'm so sick of people telling those of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie of all: that we couldn't spend because of the new stadium but once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew

Just compare the way Arsenal treat their players to other teams. You'll clearly see the difference. The way we treat our players makes them feel so big.Just look at the way Fabregas and Van Persie behaved before leaving. They go to other clubs and they look good but you always know they were better under Arsenal.I can't think of one top player who left Arsenal and was better. If the player has pride the team should also know they have their pride. No player is bigger than any club and hence all players should be treated with that in mind..
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
this window has just finished i am already thinking about who we will get for the january window we might try for khedira on a really low offer as he is free agent almost would help boost numbers in midfield in the new year as we will no doubt need to filling the numbers about then also i will hold my hands up and say i was wrong this morning for giving wenger stick and saying welbeck is rubbish i have been out in the cold light of day and had a chance to reevaluate the situation and realized that this could be a canny shrew transfer on wenger behalf actually if wenger can turn the clock back and work his magic on welbeck and get him scoring goals and improve his game then we could have a great underrated signing on our hands its wengers absolute trust in him that might be what makes him a great player as this is something that he never had at old mordor if anybody can make him a world beater wenger can he loves this little pet projects improving players against the odds welbeck has the skillset to be high class player upfornt he just needs to work very hard on his finishing i think once he gets a few goals under his belt he will settle in fine and he is a team player you could put him on the left against man city to shore up that side and he will put in a great shift without a complaint that could be his biggest asset to us or on the right whenever we need him there ithinkwenger might start himon the left against city to protect the left back against navas and i bet you if he does a great job we will take a shine to him quickly i am hopeing he will be one of those wenger gems that he finds and polishes up to a high finish i must admit i was annoyed as some other gunners were at not signing d / m and c / h but if wenger does win the league with this lot it will be his greatest win yet and what might play in to our hands is the unpredictable nature of the league in the last few seasons if we get on a good run at the right time we might be hard to stop look at city they should have never lost to stoke but the result is there in black and white for all to see and i think chelsea will hit the skids after a while to just because cesc and costa are doing well now thats there main threat but teams will work out how to stop them as the season goes on and chelsea will become predictable i think we might just do well this season after all
Hes a jedi but i agree we need cazorla back or player like him or rosicky or song and coquin wasnt song who can still play with the passing of the other players in the team xhaka is usually good on ball but so bad off of it hes been a bust so far we almost need the french connection again they have quality players we could use but honestly i think auba will be more effective on flank pnce we get laca back it takes alot of strength to play up front in the premier league it takes two years to rebuild in pl at least bit we have had two rough years and not nearly as rough as chelseas or man u or Liverpool or well this is as big as totteham will be before we make them drop down again and oh do nt forget man city either lets remember our history
In term of CB, people are forgetting that the youth academy have good players in Hayden and Ayaje.Southampton use to do well with their academy because the supporters will allow and accept the youths to be given a chance, now supporters from a big team like Arsenal wants proven expensive world class players in order to win quickly in detriment to give a chance to the youths club.Wenger show preference to some in detriment of others too playing always the same player and giving few chance to others.Bendtner last year was treated badly, look out this year for Campbell and why not give a chance to Ayaje and Hayden who are olders than Chambers in the cb position, don t tell me it s about potential if they are not given a chance?
The biggest problem has been wenger for long time now «project» run Arsenal football club as an academy and try to prove to everyone else he is the one who knows better and try to bring in kids who have potential but not ready for 1st team resisting spending money to improve squad depth and cling in on average players: Iwobi, welbeck, theo, chambers, holding and player other players on wrong position Monreal and not give opportunity to good footballer Perez and Campell also you have been holding too much power from transfer, players contracts, arsenal finances as a whole and now all that BS start to backfire
As opposed to the other big teams who will surround a young player with talent and support that makes it easier for them to grow into the team and into the game, Arsene asks a young player to be as good as anyone, and immediately be comfortable in the same role and responsibilities as the first choice player is.
Yes — I don't really understand AFCON — not only is it held at least twice as often as other big international sporting events, and sometimes more, if they decide they want to change the schedule, to not interfere with something else (not the players club obligations, who pay their wages, perish the thought), but it is always held at the peak of the league season, as they say it maybe raining in summer, which I also don't get, as it rains here all the time — I'm sure there are parts of Africa which have reasonable weather during the summer — it's a big continent — South Africa must be fairly clement at that time.
arsenal as a big and rich club they didn't spent so much money to buy best players in the past years like the other big clubs so this time it is a must that arsenal buys best defender, midfielder and striker and as well keep Sanchez valuing the service that he will be giving next season mote than # 50 m which will also protect him not to play against arsenal at least for the coming season, and who knows after wards..
We need some midfielders that can be strong and battle for us!!!! al our midfield are forward thinking and there is such a big hole from them and the back 4, It does not matter who we have playing at the back we will always get attacked with goals against us with the style of midfielders we have, Let get some steel in the middle of the park, Lets bring in some players that other teams feel fear playing against us, Look back at our best teams and we have always had players that will get back and cover and can tackle and win balls in the middle of the park, So many of our midfield now can, t even get back never mind win the ball back when we need it, It is NOT about the price of players it is all about buying players that can balance a good strong team, At time we need to buy a player who is not a star but is good at doing what we need him to do,
Now we are in a position where we can keep our big players but sometimes there are so many big players in the other big, big clubs who are good but do not play.
You are the only one who doesn't give Coquelin the credit that is going around even Wenger praises him as do other professionals.Look this is not about Coquelin this is about your coments on players age that you say at 20 are not in the same league as any at 25 bull shit, Fabragas Rooney Wiltshire Bellerin Ashely cole even Welbeck at United are class players at under 21You think that a player only matures at 25 or older you have no idea on a players ability, you just come out with this bull shit to make out you know about players.Well let's see as you say at end of season who has more knowledge on a player to make the big time CB
look at other big boys, they are playing their first team players even with less injuries they have, still we have Ramsey, Giroud, Welback out who could play this game as well!
Who would've thought a player, who swears Arsenal is in his blood, who swears he will never play for any other BPL would actually go and play for another BPL, one of our biggest rivals at thWho would've thought a player, who swears Arsenal is in his blood, who swears he will never play for any other BPL would actually go and play for another BPL, one of our biggest rivals at thwho swears Arsenal is in his blood, who swears he will never play for any other BPL would actually go and play for another BPL, one of our biggest rivals at thwho swears he will never play for any other BPL would actually go and play for another BPL, one of our biggest rivals at that?
Wenger is a deluded idiot who is clueless and still thinks we play teams like 16 years ago, football has changed and we have been sussed the way play where other clubs have moved on AFC has stagnated, Wenger has become too big for his boots and shows he's arrogance towards fans paying the highest prices in Europe for watching mediocre players achieve nothing.
Sanogo or any other player who did not make it @arsenal is a risk worth taken... every big teams release / offload players who fail to shine.Every signing is a risk so stop your ignorant opinion and on the way forward for our great team #History #Tradition #Class
Now I think there is still reasons to be cheerful, I agree Man C & Chelski have spent & bought some good players, we all understand that 5 of those teams might be in the CL proper which is a huge distraction for those 4 - 5 teams.Chelsea will not be able to field the same 13 - 14 players all season, as for Man C they were very frail at the back last season, add to that 2 flying wing backs and I'm not sure they will be any better this coming season.LFC will most probably have CL as well if they qualify and haven't exactly bought great players apart from Salah who could be a good aquasistion for them.Spuds have sold a good player & strengthened a rival & still not bought a single player yet, Man U have bought 2 good players & in Lukaku have a proven goal scorer in the PL but if they play the same dour way they did last season & with the added games the CL brings will they perform week in week out in the league??? As for Everton yes they have released a lot of players and also brought in a lot too to give better quality in the squad as they have Europa league the same as US the big difference is I think we will play squad players & youngsters maybe with a few senior players all the way up to the QF This tells me most of our rivals will pave the way for us to field pretty much the same side every weekend in the PL thus giving us an advantage over all the other 5 teams playing in the CL & Europa, just remember the League has been won in the last 2 seasons by teams NOT in Europe YES we are this season but I think Wenger will put all his eggs in the League basket and field an under strength side in all comps hence focusing on the League until we are no longer in the race.
CB is deeper, sure, but Lattimore will be # 2 on more than a few big boards, and the only other player who could plausibly combine value and need to anything like this extent is Adams.
He will suffer a similar fate to all other players who left arsenal who got too big for their boots where is van persie, sagna, etc now.
Or other proven players sitting on the benches in big clubs, but who would move for 150K / wk and regular playing time.
-- Buy one or two players for A LOT of Money and buy a couple more at mid range to low — Buy low cost and mid-range players develop them and sell them to big clubs — make only bargain acquisitions, sell your star players to big clubs and take loanees — Buy only expensive superstars sell fringe players to smaller clubs — Buy who you can afford and take players on loan — groom players and sell them for big money and always buy cheap — Buy only the players you need — Buy outside Europe — Buy NO ONE — Use some other strategy we don't know about
of course, i get frustrated at the fact we buy 1 decent player and then all the pressure sits on their shoulders i feel for sanchez every game he works his arse off and he looks like he annoyed by some of the other players who ai nt up to it we have a decent squad but we need 1st team cdm and a striker and a decent cb, look at bayern benatia, boateng, martinez, dante all being played at cb but our only decent cb is kos, its not good enough i like mert but he ai nt gonna help us win the league, would love arsene to finish this season with at least 1 more trophy and then try bring in pep guardiola he's the only manager similar to arsenal's style but i think he would need a promise from the board for big funds
But that is normal when you have big talents and good players — there will be other clubs who are interested.
The assistant doesn't make the substitutions, or have to make a decision about whether to sit a player who missed a big game because his grandmother was sick, or any of the other daily decisions that can make people unhappy.
With $ 10 million to disburse among the players, the PGA Championship is right up there with the big boys — the Masters, U.S. Open and Open Championship, which comprise the other three majors — in rewarding those who rise to the top of the leaderboard at Glory's Last Shot.
yes i mean the guy who have ozil and cazorla behind him and he score 16 goal per a season in 48 appearances and start every game... what he is jogging in these other 32 games... i mean the guy who play for arsenal third season in the row and yet do nt have a goal agaist man utd, chelsea, liverpool, man city (do nt mention me that community shield goal) i am talking about epl... who brought him in arsenal that must be some masonic crap, him to be main guy and everybody feed him players like ozil, cazorla now its gonna be sanchez, ramsey... salute, that is biggest achievement anybody pulled out!!!
