other bloggers as well as some of their collective contacts to pull off a fantastic holiday surprise for 21 children
who live in a small remote village in Alaska where one can only get in or out by bush plane or a small boat via the rough Nushagak River.
This is why I love keeping in touch with mom
friends and
other bloggers who have the experience!
I'm so excited to be able to officially announce the Dads4Kesem Hadrian's Wall Walk in July 2016, when I'll be joining 11
other dad
bloggers, writers, and influencers, as we walk together to raise funds for a new Camp Kesem chapter at the University of Maryland in honor of my
friend Oren Miller,
who lost his battle with cancer last year.
As it got closer to our runway show, I was completely surprised when my
friends showed up for the event (I think I was speechless for a good 10 minutes) and I couldn't of been more thankful for everyone
who came out to support myself and the
other bloggers — we had such an amazing group there and the energy was electric!!

who doesn't want a «one - way ticket to being the «cool»
friend»?!?) Thanks a million for including our Grilled Corn Salad and Grilled Tropical Fruit — so thrilled to be included amongst so many
other phenomenal

I feel the exact same was as you about this wonderful blogging community — heck, that's how we became
friends, because fellow
bloggers are warm, welcoming people
who support each
other.
It may be your significant
other, your roommate, your parent, your
friend, or another local
blogger but you need to have a consistent schedule of someone
who shoots with you.
I know people
who don't care about
blogger -
friends, thinking that they are sooo important that people should visit their blogs, but they don't care about anybody else, reading what
others have to say.
Some of them are part of my life (my sister, my family of
friends, my university professors, ladies I collaborate with) and
others part of me forever (my mother and grandmother); and then there are also those
who I have never actually met, but make an impact all the same: inspiring food
bloggers and photographers whose work and kindness I admire and aspire to, poets and activists, comedians and writers
who make me feel so damn proud to be a woman.
Today we are teaming up with our
friend Angie from My So - Called Chaos, myself, and a few
other fabulous
bloggers who've joined us this month.

I usually go for once or twice a month for instance but I know some
friends and fellow
bloggers who do seasonal boxes, or Stitch Fix every
other month.

You make

bloggers you haven't even met, and find people you have so much in common with
who come from countries and cultures that may be very different to your own, but
who share the same passion as you.
I get a lot of compliments from
friends on our home, and when I compare myself to
other bloggers or magazines
who are doing way more amazing things than I am, I think, then why my house?
Luckily, I had a little motivation from my
friend Shannon,
who inspired a group of home
bloggers to create a Christmas ornament or
other holiday decorating element to share in an upcoming free ebook.
