Unlike
the other breeds on this list, the English Whippet does have lazy tendencies and is considered a calm dog breed.
Dogue de Bordeaux is not as tall as
some other breeds on this list but is massive with a powerful build with males weighing in well over 150 pounds (68 kg).
Because of their thick, double coats that they have, they are more susceptible to shedding great amounts of fur and dander more frequently, just as
other breeds on this list.
The Bichon Frise is tailored more to being a pampered lap dog than
the other breeds on this list, but they're small dogs with big separation issues.
The dog doesn't enjoy cuddles, but can be relatively easy to train compared to
other breeds on this list.
Like
the other breeds on our list, the wolf - like appearance is certainly prominent.
Although the German Shorthaired Pointer sheds a bit more than some of
the other breeds on this list, he's still not a heavy shedder.
These large dogs do take a bit longer to groom than
the other breeds on this list.
