SARSr - CoVs detected in southeastern, central and northern provinces, such as Hong Kong, Hubei and Shaanxi, formed
the other clade which was phylogenetically distant to human and civet SARS - CoVs (Fig 6 and S6 Fig).
The results show that one particular clade, or type of the virus, is dominant among patients in Sierra Leone, suggesting that two
other clades that dominated early on in the outbreak have died out.
The most heat resistant symbionts belong to clade D, but other heat resistant types have evolved within
other clades.

Between specimens, there was significant variation found within the TcI
clade — some Tc1 strains were very different, at a genetic level, from
other Tc1 strains studied.
Habitual bipedal locomotion is a defining feature of modern humans compared with
other primates, and the evolution of this behaviour in our
clade would have had profound effects on the biologies of our fossil ancestors and relatives.
Genome sequencing also revealed that MRSA
clades were dynamic in the ICU over the three - month period, with some
clades more prevalent early in the study and
others later.
The Bioko viruses cover the whole range of SIV genetic diversity, and each Bioko SIV
clade is most closely related to viruses circulating in hosts of the same genus on the African mainland rather than to SIVs of
other Bioko species.
Dr. Meng: Well, in the first place, I think that twist gives us an idea [of] that how much we don't know about Mesozoic mammals, because a new order means that's a major branch, a major [class]
Clade, or major group, of mammal, which is quite different from
others.
Within Passerea, the TENT strongly confirmed the monophyly of two large closely related
clades that we refer to as core landbirds (Telluraves) and core waterbirds (Aequornithia)(8, 16, 17, 27, 36, 59); we use the term «core» instead of «higher» to prevent interpretation that these groups are more advanced or more recently evolved than
other birds.
Within core landbirds, we found 100 % BS for a previously more weakly supported
clade (Australaves) containing seriemas (historically placed in Gruiformes), falcons (historically grouped with
other diurnal birds of prey), parrots (historically difficult to place), and Passeriformes and a sister
clade (Afroaves) containing Accipitrimorphae birds of prey, owls, mousebirds, woodpeckers, and bee eaters, among
others (Fig. 1)(8, 17, 26, 29, 60).
Although some of the findings of the initial multigene studies (8, 17) have since been corroborated with larger sequence (26 — 28) or transposable element (TE) insertion data sets (29),
other proposed
clades were not supported (27, 28).
Branch colors denote well - supported
clades in this and
other analyses.
It further shows that some docodontans had a diet with a substantial herbivorous component, distinctive from the faunivorous diets previously reported in
other members of this
clade.
With restricted distributions, serious conservation threats, and relatively low taxonomic richness compared with
other odontocete
clades, the evolutionary history of «river dolphins» remains a topic of perennial interest (Cassens et al., 2000; Hamilton et al., 2001; Nikaido et al., 2001; Pyenson, 2009; Ruiz - Garcia & Shostell, 2010; Turvey et al., 2010; Geisler et al., 2011).
If you are a Replacementist, like me, you will restrict the concept «archaic Homo sapiens», or whatever you want to call it, to the ones that are very likely our ancestors, and the
others (the Chinese and Indonesian fossils, mainly) will be a separate
clade, Homo erectus.
All this business of taxonomy and nomenclature,
clades and grades, Continuity and Replacement, is probably a bit too much like science for any creationist, for whom a rose by any
other name would not smell sweet at all.
Clade D Symbiodinium are present in higher abundances on some reefs than
others, and these are often reefs exposed to relatively high levels of thermal stress or local stressors (e.g., sedimentation on reefs) with a history of coral bleaching.
While this view has been changing for some time, a revolution in our thinking came with the discovery of Lokiarchaeum («Loki») and
other members of the «Asgard»
clade of archaea through metagenomic sampling of ocean sediments in 2015.
Members of Theropoda, the only
clade of predominantly predatory dinosaurs, were successful predators partly due to a unique, deeply serrated tooth structure that allowed them to easily tear through the flesh and bone of
other dinosaurs, according to a new study published in the journal Scientific Reports.
Recently, our team released an annotated genome assembly of C. krusei via NCBI Genbank, and we are currently working with the CDC to assemble genomes and predict genes for C. auris isolates from the
other major
clades and
other closely related species; we plan to share these data in the coming weeks.

other recent studies place gray whales as being outside the rorqual

The
other lineage (known as Euphyllophyta) includes two major
clades: the spermatophytes or seed plants (including more than 250,000 species of angiosperms [flowering plants], conifers, cycads, gnetophytes, and the Gingko) and the monilophytes or ferns (sensu lato, including the horsetails, whisk ferns, and eusporangiate and leptosporangiate ferns, with most of the roughly 12,000 monilophyte species being leptosporangiate ferns).
