You missed the point, those two system ARE N'T JUST about the exclusives, they have MAJOR third party support & that's key to winning next gen. Third party games are becoming more & more appealing, not to mention that the Wii spark (which made it the best selling console last gen) has died, no one looks at the WiiU and thinks: «Wow, I like the new touch screen
controller» because believe it or not, it makes it hard for you to focus from one screen to the
other & that doesn't work well with a console that needs to be hooked to a TV (games that support switching gameplay from the TV to the
controller are great though!).

do people buy a PS4 over a X1 because of hype, or the
controller, or some
other factor than graphics?
I don't really care about the gimmick one way or the
other; Jackbox games are played the same way and are incredibly enjoyable, though it
does feel odd to use such an advanced machine with specifically - designed
controllers for games like this.
I bought my deluxe WiiU brand new from a local retail store and it was really expensive (I had to save for almost 2), I got one of those awful gamepads that stop working just at the end of the year (I played 2 times a week for 3 or 5 hours at much and I handled it with extreme care for that piece of junk, bought electrical protection and all) I don't have the money or resources to replace it so instead I bought the
other less expensive
controller, I bought the MarioMaker because it stated it could be played with
other controllers but once started it I found out that the gamepad is required and the software closes, I asked for assistance and they replied to me that the game needed the gamepad for building but not for playing.
I played this on the Gear VR which unfortunately
does not support Bluetooth
controllers, unlike every
other version of this game which utilizes gamepad controls.
Now if you're playing in single player you will have to control two chefs, and you can choose a
controller layout to suit you by either controlling one chef at a time, and switching between them using the LB / RB buttons, or using a split
controller layout, with which you control one chef with the left side of the pad and the
other with the right side of the pad, and as far as I'm concerned you're a genius if you can
do the latter.
Why
do some games map crouch to square (I will be using Ps4
controller labels going forward), while
others use L3 or R3, or even circle or L2?

controller support, split - screen co-op, spellcrafting, runecrafting, and
other stuff that doesn't involve eating ghosts.

controller is 100 % the real deal, unlike
other «custom» third - party

I
do believe that a lot of the hype surrounding this
controller is because MS has
done a great job of marketing it, and I think people's excitement for it is due to finally having the chance to experience a high end

others talk about it, and none of that was common in the past.
This can range from a character advising the player to «Press X» or «Press A» in a tutorial, (referring to a
controller button that
does not exist in the game) all the way to Psycho Mantis reading the player's memory card and mentioning the
other games they've been playing.
B.U.T.T.O.N. players have to rush toward the game
controllers and perform simple actions according to prompts appearing on the screen, but in
doing so they are forced to negotiate the boundaries of acceptable play and the evaluate the performance of
other players on behalf of the machine.
