Sample sizes for
other correlations varied due to random missing data (evaluator ratings n = 113 — 124; parental worry n = 1,209 — 1,211; Year 2 CBCL n = 1,094 — 1,107; Year 2 ITSEA n = 1,121 — 1,123).
Despite the intra-class correlations all being significant with p < 0.001, they were lower than expected ranging between 0.40 for teacher rated Emotional Symptoms to 0.79 for parent rated Peer Problems with only two
other correlations ≥ 0.70 (parent rated Conduct Problems and Total Difficulties).
Other correlations, though not scientifically proven, raise some interesting issues.
That's still not hugely surprising (though the researchers actually expected the opposite — that the overweight would post more about diet and exercise), but
other correlations the team uncovered were more surprising, such as the fact that «patients with high blood pressure post more frequently about their children than do people without the condition.»
(And
any other correlations with CO2 concentration appear to have no statistical basis.)
