In the course of his career, he has established continuous collaborations and partnerships with many renowned galleries including Lehmann Maupin, James Cohan, Yvon Lambert, Paula Cooper, and Robert Miller among others.

De Looper has been exhibited and collected by many established museums such as the National Gallery of Art, the Phillips Collection, and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, among others.

Founded by Damien Hirst in 1999 as a gallery and publishing company, Other Criteria works with established and emerging artists to create unique artworks, limited edition prints and publications.

Following the war Penrose reopened the London Gallery (which had closed in 1939) and then, with Read, Mesens, and others, established the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) in 1946.

The vision for the new gallery is not only to have solo shows by established and emerging artists but to introduce local audiences to artists from other parts of the continent and further afield.
