He was once a firm favourite with the Arsenal
fans and even though he did not give Arsene Wenger much option but to sell him to Barcelona back in 2011, the
fact that Cesc Fabregas wanted to play for his boyhood club and had given us some great years, meant that he was not treated like a traitor in the way that
other departing Gunners like Nasri, Cole and van Persie were.

fans of

There is a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth coming from the Arsenal
fans at the minute, partly due to the
fact that Arsene Wenger has once again been more careful with the transfer spending than all the
other challengers for the Premier League title, but mainly due to the poor start we have had to the new season, in my opinion anyway.
They are not rumours. They are things that are actually happening.I'm only giving you the
facts which will eventually come out.If I was any
other fan I would've been applauded for a lot of deals coming before time. The problem is that Arsenal sign only a few players and our targets have been few.
While some will point to the
fact that Francis Coquelin has made a big difference as well as
other players like Laurent Koscielny being an improvement on what Arsenal had before, some Arsenal

Joel Campbell is good but arsenal
fans never cease to amaze me.They never make up their mind they wait for the player to have a dip in form and then insult and criticize him and say childish things. Then when he does well they pretend like they were always in support of him.I remember always saying here first that Szczesny is a better goalkeeper than Ospina.I also proudly defended Szczesny everytime they aimed at him.How i wish he started at Chelsea or any
other team and i bet you he would not be this error prone.I know forever he will always be better than Ospina and that is a
fact not even an opinion. For Campbell vs Ox its there for everyone to see Ox would eventually win the battle come one day.But injuries have made him so unlucky. He should go to Chelsea where he would be better taken care of and would make people eat their words.
That's why he released a top 3 and honestly I don't know how that is even considered a bad thing he's having fun with the process and I know for a
fact you and all
other wildcat
fans who are calling out BWill would welcome him back with open arms if he recommitted, only now that its looking like Oregon everyone is upset at him taking his time and putting out top 3 lists.
To all the Negative Arsenal
fans, here is a lesson for u. the
fact that Man Utd has now lost 3 consecutive games even with their so called expensive calibre of players shows u that it is Not always greener on the
other side.
But the one thing I will never understand is why some people refuse to believe this, it seems to me as if most people on this site may genuinely have «Stockholm syndrome», because the
fact that you say «in Arsene we trust» despite the
fact that the last 6 six seasons (I'm talking about the premier league only) have been a complete and utter catastrophe and in which he has done nothing but; completely ignore
fans frustrations; fail to address squad needs on numerous occasions; ignored the advice from
other footballing experts, and yet you still want him in a job.

fans don't respect small guys and only get excited about soap operas where two guys talk smack about each
other.

These are
FACTS... as @mohawk and
other Giroud
fans like to sing about.
the obvious
fact is that the club began to stagnate in football terms a decade ago after the CL semi against man utd and has been in outright retreat over the last 3 years... some
fans were calling for wenger to leave in 2011 - 12 as it was clear he could not cope with a more competitive environment
others have been more tolerant, hanging on to fa cup glory and hoping that he would somehow self correct his weak and erratic management style but most now realise that is not possible and that the club will deteriorate further under his management so also want him gone, that has left a hard core of wenger loyalists who are either fixated with the past (selecting episodic good and bad times to justify wengers decade long failure) or too frightened of the future to contemplate a change (with selective reference to failed managerial changes by way of justification) or both, to conclude, through a mixture of panglossian fatalism and corporate philosophising, how lucky we are to have such an honourable and educated man in charge... along with their confused references to club loyalty and addiction to computer games these are troubled souls who need our sympathy and concerned medical advice... SO JUST F OFF STOCK UP ON CANNED SOUP AND GO SUPPORT ASTON VILLA ON FIFA!
But the frustration for me and perhaps many
other Arsenal
fans is the
fact that we seem to be our own worst enemy.

other way.
i like abramovich for being a
fan, but hey, thats not our owner sobe it and lets at least be thankful for the
fact that is silnt stan knows nothing about football he is rright in letting
other do that job.
A large majority, esp of older
fans, who knew Arsenal existed and were great, in
fact long before Wenger was even born, as well as under
other managers in Wengers adult lifetime, have been slating him on here and
other forums, exactly as I have done.
I'm down and sad today as no matter what I and
other aob say or do the
fact is the owner and board back Wenger, the club will not allow any Wenger out banners in the ground and far to many
fans still trust the old stubborn fraud of a manager to win the league again!
we look at Newcastle and feel sorry for them, we look at Leeds and say «we don't want that to happen to us» but the
fact is that ALL
other premier league
fans look at us and they say Mugs!!!

fact), there was a large minority of Arsenal

others.
We all know that the Arsenal
fans are very unhappy that Arsene Wenger did not go out and spend squillions in the transfer market (like most
other top clubs) but although everyone is saying that our ONLY acquisition this summer was the goalkeeper Petr Cech, the
fact is that Wenger did snap up a bagfull of promising young players.
i know that we need to keep both players, their importance to the team should be reflected in their wages, i'd like to see them get between 200 000/250 000 a week but they shouldn't hold us to ransom and ask for 300 000 like i read somewhere also they shouldn't take into account the reasons why they've been playing well (very well i should say) the
fact that they are at the right club playing under a manager who gives them the freedom to express themselves on the pitch, teammates that respect them and see them as their leaders they must enjoy leading the team and the way our team plays its football, i think right now both the players and the club suit each
other and the best outcome for all parties (including
fans) would be to agree on contracts that satisfy everyone!!
fact; if wenger was a manager in any
other country hed have been replaced for his own safety.maybe the
fans are part of the problem too, the journalsts seem to be under his spell too comparinf the level of hostility jose and lvg have endured.well thats the curious story of wenger and the brits who couldnt do s **** about him.i bet after a loss he reminds himself «i am arsenal nobody can do s **** about me, its never that serious!!»
I am all for trying things out, in
fact a lot of Arsenal
fans have been urging Arsene Wenger for years now to be a bit more adventurous or experimental when it comes to playing formations, making substitutions and various
other aspects of the game.
Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the
fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our club's storied history... a
fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of
others to secure our place in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
The
fact that Arsenal have been in the UCL draw every
other year in that time should be enough to convince Lacazette of our pedigree though, so do you expect this
fan French forward to be our second signing of the summer?
much like when a country can't divulge highly classified information publicly for obvious economic and military reasons, a professional soccer organization must keep certain things in - house so they don't devalue a player, expose a weakness, provide info that could give an opposing club leverage in future negotiations and / or give them vital intel regarding a future match, but when dishonesty becomes the norm the relationship between cub and
fan will surely deteriorate... in our particular case, our club has done an absolutely atrocious job when it comes to cultivating a healthy and honest relationship with the media or their
fans, which has contributed greatly to our lack of success in the transfer market... along with poor decisions involving weekly wages, we can't ever seem to get true market value for most of our outgoing players and
other teams seem to squeeze every last cent out of us when we are looking to buy; why wouldn't they, when you go to the table with such a openly desperate and dysfunctional team like ours, you have all the leverage; made even worse by the
fact that who wouldn't want to see our incredibly arrogant and thrifty manager squirm during the process... the real issue at this club is respect, a word that appears to be entirely lost on those within our hierarchy... this is the starting point from which all great relationships between club and supporters form... this doesn't mean that a team can't make mistakes along the way, that's just human nature, it's about how they chose to deal with these situations that will determine if this relationship flourishes or devolves..
This is a decent article, yet the negatives from
fans are still there, I would love to see arsenal like I did at the end of the 90's and at the beggining of the 2nd millennium but it doesn't mean in order to do so I would buy all the best players in world, I would get a rich owner to put his filthy money in, change the manager every 2 years to do so, there's so much wrong in football nowadays that yes it's still a sport but there's more focus on the filthy amounts of money being spent on clubs and players that I think attracts more attention than the game itself, now that is wrong and it's very wrong, even our owner though not like the arabs or Russians, yet the yank is clueless about the tradition of our game, it's just sad, so the
fact that Wenger has remained for this long through all these changes that have occurred whilst the money game has elvolved, it makes me happy that arsenal do not spend stupid amounts of money on players, we don't try and buy the league, hell we even tight with wages and transfer fees, I'm glad it's like that, though our season ticket is a rip off I still don't mind it because at least we are not like the
other supreme teams, there's a bit of tradition left at our club, yet you go to man shitty or Chelski, there is no tradition, it's all about buying ur way all the way to the top, on the
other hand spuds don't know what to make of them besides how the heck have they finished above us?
This man completely lost it, winning to Lincoln and he calls it road to recovery selling the story that he is now focused on regaining the winning habit in the PL, this old fool is completely delusional, here are some
facts: 1 He lost it 2 The old fool will be the Manager next year 3 Sanchez is leaving 4 What makes it different from
other seasons he lost the dressing room 5 We wont win the FA Cup, its crunch time playing against the big boys But what bugs me the most is that he still has support from
Fans who are the ones actually brainwashed by him and the board making them believe that bthis is the normal, fight for 4th and exit on the round of 16th..........
climb back in your hole lockay its boring cant think of anything more original than to slate
other fans as delusional,,, so tired of this little clan on here and your opinions that have to be agreed with,,, beating man city was something to be happy about,,
fact,, the amount of
fans on here saying we can never beat the big teams when we do then were delusional for being pleased,, weird
He may be a former Arsenal player and you could even say he is a
fan favourite because of the way he played and for what he achieved in more than 10 years with the Gunners, but Paul Merson has shown little love for the current Arsenal side in his role as TV pundit, although I feel that is largely due to the
fact that he and Arsene Wenger are clearly not on each
other's christmas card list.

They never, never blame the
fans, if for no
other reason than the
fact that it is the
fans who feed (on caviar in this case probably) the players, the manager, the CEO, and the owner!
our managers stubborness and reluctance to spend seems to have our
fans split right down the middle... i genuinely believe its not the
fact that he thinks the squad is good enough its more that hes trying to prove that you do nt need to buy success and by god if it takes him 10 years for this bunch to mature enough to do it hel keep us suffering so he can turn and say «told ya so» to fergie, rafa, hughes, abramovich, etc.the problem is by the time this happens theyl have won titles by spending the question is are all you
fans on the
other side of the argument willing to wait that long and watch cesc, RvP, arshavin, cliche etc go elsewhere for momentos of their careers.in the time since our last league triumph (also last serious challenge) the team that has won the league most has invested in berbatov, nani, evra, vidic, carrick, hargreaves, anderson, tevez to name a few....
nonny, dude iv done the whole «wait and see» and hav kept faith for a long time now, and so hav alot of
other arsenal
fans... this is the only blog i post on but i occasionally go read on
others just to make sure im not being negative or overly critical, as i hav been often accused.im sorry to say at this moment you are the minority, ur waiting, hoping that things miraculously turn around and that their really isnt a problem.well their is, the
fact that these players promised potential hasnt come to fruition isnt down to bad luck or wotever ur blaming it on....

fact ginger the team to qualify ahead of
others without the usual struggle and gnashing of the teeth.
