Band 10 brings to ALMA a broad range of capabilities, which — among other things — enables astronomers and planetary scientists to study and monitor temperature changes at different altitudes above the clouds of Uranus and
other giant planets in our Solar System.
S: Not objects the size of Jupiter or Saturn because Jupiter and
the other giant planets couldn't have ejected objects that large, but there certainly could be a handful of Earth - and Mars - size objects.

Others (such as Glenn Schneider of the University of Arizona and Scott Kenyon of the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory), however, argue that a
giant planet in the system could gravitationally deflect comets and asteroids away from inner
planets that may support life in the liquid water zone, in the same way that Jupiter protects Earth in the Solar System.
Warm dense matter exists in the cores of gas
giant planets and the preliminary stages of nuclear fusion, among
other inaccessible places.
The detection of close - in
giant planets around
other stars was the first clue that this pattern is not universal, and that
planets» orbits can change substantially after their formation.
Pluto has long been a misfit in the prevailing theories of the solar system's origin: it is thousands of times less massive than the four gas -
giant outer
