Wyndham sets itself apart
from other hotel rewards programs by charging a flat number of points — 15,000 per night — for any standard hotel room, no matter what type of hotel you choose.
It also puts pressure
on other hotel rewards programs to respond — it will be interesting to see if Marriott / Starwood or Hyatt will add all their time share properties to their respective programs!
Starwood Preferred Guest is
unlike other hotel reward programs because even though Starwood has a co-branded credit card with American Express, the hotel chain runs its own points transfer program.
This is a restriction
no other hotel rewards program has and has made it impossible for me to redeem any points.
Similar to
other hotel rewards programs, Wyndham offers two credit cards, allowing you to earn points with daily purchases as well as sign - up bonuses as high as 45,000 points!
By staying focused on that goal, we hope to provide more value than
any other hotel rewards program.
Elite Membership Levels & Benefits: Similar to
other hotel rewards programs, Marriott Rewards has four levels.
I'm not looking to forego
all other hotel rewards programs in favor of Wyndham Rewards, but in the spirit of diversifying our reward accounts, it's definitely worth factoring Wyndham into the equation.
