kids love getting it, but I always try to ALSO include some fun items that are developmental in SOME way.
I think, up until recently, most parents have blindly trusted the companies trying to sell

For example, I've never had the need to wear a sports bra while running, bikini tops could easily be purchased in the
kids section, and I'm yet to find a dress with a fitted chest area that I can wear without

other than my boobs, which never do an adequate job of taking up the allotted space on their own.

I don't plan on having the Santa
stuff as part of our Christmas celebrations (and since we do things on a different day then
other people, it would make it complicated anyways), but I worry about having to deal with
other parents if my
kid lets things slip.

other, from thumb sucking to carrying around a beloved
stuffed animal.

I might disagree with some of your choices, (for instance, I've often wondered why families with
kids who have outgrown strollers do not still use strollers, or
other pushcarts, to carry around their
stuff like you mention... if it's THAT great then why don't we continue doing it?)
we bought all clothing on clearence!!!!! and we got most of his toys and
other things as hand me downs!!!!! we are fortunate as to have a lot
kids in our family so we simply pass
stuff around until litterally falls apart!!!!
