I still normally end up with more deaths than kills, but there's a sense of enjoyment here that I feel is missing in
many other online shooters.
This allows players to essentially build their own load - outs unlike
many other online shooters that rely more on a set category system.
The survival PvP game left Steam Early Access after four years back in February and continues to thrive despite the massive success

It's scrappy and it's simple, and it speaks to a pleasure as primal as that found
in other online shooters, even if it's more overtly juvenile: this isn't about bloodlust, and it's only nominally about a sense of conquest.
While Red Orchestra 2 does contain leveling and weapon upgrades, they aren't as important or prevalent as in
many other online shooters.
Also similar to
other online shooters, RIGS offers up a challenge system.
I'm sure «
every other online shooter within a year» means «about the time people get bored of that nonsense».
