Don't be afraid to experiment with
other types of frozen fruit for this
recipe such as strawberries, mangos or
peaches.
2 1/2 -3 pounds whole fresh yellow
peaches (about 8 medium
peaches) 1

Although the original
recipe use apples, variants are now made with
other sweet fruits like
peaches and pineapples.
I will definitely be making more soon while I can still find fresh
peaches, but I was wondering - do you think
other kinds could be made using the same
recipe but just switching the fruit?
can you use
other fruit instead of
peaches or do you have
other recipes for like grape strawberry etc
The crumble
recipe works well with
other fruits as well — just eliminate the cornstarch when you try it with
peaches, plums or apples.
As you may remember from some of my
other recipes, like this
Peach Praline Ice Cream, I use full fat coconut milk in a lot of my
recipes (the cans, not the cartons).
There are so many
other recipes I'm excited to make, especially the Pistachio Ice Cream, the California Nachos, and the Avocado
Peach Bruschetta.
2 cups unsweetened almond milk, homemade or store bought (see
recipe for homemade almond milk below) 1/2 cup chia seeds 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 - 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup or raw honey Seasonal fruit for topping (blueberries,
peaches, figs and plums are pictured here) Almonds or
other nuts for topping
You could alternatively use this same
recipe with
other fruit like berries,
peaches, oranges and so on.

Substitute
other canned pie fillings for the
peach pie filling and you'll have an almost endless homemade crisp
recipe repertoire.
Reduce the amount of sugar in your
recipes by adding naturally sweet blueberries, apricots,
peaches, and
other fruit.
You can also prepare this
recipe using
other stone fruits, such as
peaches, nectarines, or apricots.

other change I made from the original
recipe, which you can see from the photos, is I opted to use the cast iron skillet to heat the
peaches and bake the cobbler.
