It probably won't be a surprise that architecture is the greatest source of inspiration for not only fashion designers but stylists, fashion bloggers and, according to my observations, many
other creative fields
including photographers, choreographs and make up artists.

Delano and eight
other photographers,
including the legendary Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans and Arthur Rothstein, helped to visually document the devastation and anguish that was widespread across the country as a result of the Great Depression and Dust Bowl.
Under the tutelage of Alexey Brodovitch, Avedon quickly became the magazine's lead
photographer, while also creating formal portraits for many
