plaid Rails shirt and today am sharing some
other pieces like that top that can easily be swapped in with today's
look!
Create a playful
look by pairing your
plaid with
other prints.
My favorite patterns to mix are red
plaid and leopard print, but you can mix floral and stripes, camo and floral, and many
others to get unique
looks that add entirely new elements to your outfits.
I made a plain one for my husband in lime green, and one with
plaid one side and fleece the
other for my sister in law, apparently they
looked good on the ski slopes!
My favorites included this trench, this dress and this men's
plaid jacket (which
looks like it's sold out now, but lots of
other goodies here).
Once you've decided on say, a
plaid shirt, you can easily choose the
other components of your
look pulling inspo from all the colors in your top.
To create your unique country western
look you can count on
other fashion staples like suede leather, a
plaid shirt, bootcut or flare jeans, and a lace - up blouse.
A
plaid shift like this can easily be worn both over and under
other clothing items to give the same dress very different
looks.
My
look the
other day was fairly casual complete with a graphic tee from Charming Charlie, ripped CK jeans, Puma sneakers, and a
plaid Isaac Mizrahi blazer.
I'll never forget my first week living in The Northwoods of Wisconsin when I was at the hardware store and
looked down the aisle and one gentleman was in a Buffalo
Plaid coat and the
other in a Houndstooth hat.
The cloth upholstery on base and Premium trims feels durable without an overtly rugged
look (in
other words, there's no
plaid flannel option).
You can choose
plaid, scarecrows, leaves, or
other motifs to give it a cool fall
look.
Other side of the living room... i love how the blue and white
looks with all of the traditional
plaid!
