We also have
some other players in our squad who are linked with the exit door, with current contract rebels Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil possible outgoings, but which other players are no longer deemed worthy of a regular run of action in our first - team?

Wenger was a nervous wreck and really doesn't know how to change a plan mid game or to motivate from the bench he plays
players who do not compliment each

(3) formation flexibility — it took 20 years for Wenger to return to a back 3 and now he can't seem to choose anything but that formation... the teams
in the premiership and those we could face
in the Europa will present vastly different tactics and we need to have a manager
who can prepare this
squad for this eventuality and have the fortitude to make the necessary adjustments throughout the season... I have seen nothing
in the past 6 - 7 years to suggest that he is the man to take on this challenge... I can't even remember when he changed formations when he would replace a small, pacy striker, like during the Walcott experiment, with the lumbering Giroud... of course this is exactly why there is no
other manager
in the world that plays more
players out of their natural positions (square peg
in a round hole)

You cant escape he fact that Podolski was played rarely and when he was he was played out of position much the same way that Wenger has assembled a
squad of
players most of which are a talented bunch, but, Wenger has failed to build a team

players have crap periods or are long term injury problems.
Wilshere getting injured isn't new just how after Wenger does not sign a capable CF for the 4th season
in a row and we finish 4th this season you will see the SAME PEOPLE around this SAME TIME next year
who said the
squad was good enough, you'll see there will be no injuries if everyone stays fit so we don't need to sign
players or we don't really need any striker we have Giroud (a
player better than Rooney and Henry
who it is very very very very HARD to find any better

Besides several teams
who have questions surrounding one or possibly two

squad that has so many issues heading into the final week of the transfer window... even Monaco,
who have lost numerous
players from their starting 11 have less controversy swirling
in and around their club and they have champion's league play to contend with this season... just think of how ridiculous this situation is especially considering that we have had the same manager for over 20 years... no team should be better organized than ours... if nothing else, that should be the one advantage this team holds over all
others, yet the exact opposite has occurred... this fact is even more disturbing considering the main argument against removing Wenger from his managerial position was that there was no suitable replacement and that people feared some sort of perceived drop - off if a new manager was brought into the mix... based on what we've witnessed since the time of his contract renewal a monkey with a magic eight ball could have done an adequate job... I hate to make jokes,

i am not too bothered by the manner we won today the most important thing is the 3 pts remember burnley beat liverpool not so long ago, also for the people
who thought the title was already lost after just a few games (which by the way was stupid to think) well not only man city got beaten but their team looked jaded / tired and even though they have a very good
squad they missed de bruyne terribly, it is not the same team without him they couldn, t create any chances which is good news, it can, t be good for a team to depend so much on one
player (we should know a thing or two about this)
in case he gets injured hopefully we have moved on from this and can deal with injuries to our

our mental attitude, belief and motivation is what is really killing us, shame we do not have a manager

Honestly though, we have one or two

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where
players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current
players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current
squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi,
who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or
who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these
players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago,
who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points
in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive
players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a
player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the
players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this
player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens
who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3
players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill
players we've seen on this
squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a
player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask
who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6
players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the
other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
It was also strange to rest Petr Cech,
who has more experience of winning Champions League games than any

ok we are
in a strong financial position, we all know that since we are one of the richest teams ok the worls and we can buy any
player besides neymar messi or cr7 (thats we we are tought, besides we fail
in signing the likes of mbappe, lemar and
others) we are there of course because of wenger masterplan to move to emirates and sacrifice our best year, when we were an atractive club because of the noise and image of the invensible... we have an awesome
squad, last year, one of the best
in the last 20 years of the club, as we were told from the same dictator
who knows all arsenal
players in those years
What Sanchez wants to think about is,
in any
other club he will not be the kingpin, he'll just be another member of the
squad who won't get picked every game, and will be substituted a lot more than he is at Arsenal, so if he's happy with that, and wants to leave, let him go, I'm sick of
players holding clubs to ransom.

You see a game changing world beater and I see a kid

(1) this
squad has way too many moving parts and very few of our
players are good enough at their preferred position let alone relying on them
in whatever position Wenger and his magic eight ball decide
in the tunnel prior to the game... when teams do this it generally signals issues within the club, much like Jose last year and Van Gael before him... no one gets settled, the chemistry is almost non-existent and if provides a built -
in excuse when the team comes up short... these issues fall squarely on Wenger, both for his decisions regarding
players coming
in and for his inability to rid the team of those
players who aren't cutting it...
in actually fact we have only 6 real starters on this current
squad and that's being generous (Sanchez, Ozil, Lacazette, Sead, Kos & Cazorla)... which is discouraging because Cazorla is injured and might never play again, Sanchez is wanting out and the club is lying to us about his injury status, Lacazette receives no service, Ozil is relatively disinterested out there, Kos is getting up there and Sead is just trying to settle
in... there isn't a single
other player that would start regularly on any of the
other top 3 teams, which should be the standard... imagine this team moving forward if Wenger only sells before the window closes
Now I think there is still reasons to be cheerful, I agree Man C & Chelski have spent & bought some good
players, we all understand that 5 of those teams might be
in the CL proper which is a huge distraction for those 4 - 5 teams.Chelsea will not be able to field the same 13 - 14
players all season, as for Man C they were very frail at the back last season, add to that 2 flying wing backs and I'm not sure they will be any better this coming season.LFC will most probably have CL as well if they qualify and haven't exactly bought great
players apart from Salah
who could be a good aquasistion for them.Spuds have sold a good
player & strengthened a rival & still not bought a single
player yet, Man U have bought 2 good
players &
in Lukaku have a proven goal scorer
in the PL but if they play the same dour way they did last season & with the added games the CL brings will they perform week
in week out
in the league??? As for Everton yes they have released a lot of
players and also brought
in a lot too to give better quality
in the
squad as they have Europa league the same as US the big difference is I think we will play
squad players & youngsters maybe with a few senior
players all the way up to the QF This tells me most of our rivals will pave the way for us to field pretty much the same side every weekend
in the PL thus giving us an advantage over all the
other 5 teams playing
in the CL & Europa, just remember the League has been won
in the last 2 seasons by teams NOT
in Europe YES we are this season but I think Wenger will put all his eggs
in the League basket and field an under strength side
in all comps hence focusing on the League until we are no longer
in the race.
Apart from Chelsea target Juan Cuadrado and goalkeeper Neto whom Liverpool have reportedly been chasing, there are plenty of
other top
players in the
squad who could interested Premier League teams.
of course, i get frustrated at the fact we buy 1 decent
player and then all the pressure sits on their shoulders i feel for sanchez every game he works his arse off and he looks like he annoyed by some of the
other players who ai nt up to it we have a decent
squad but we need 1st team cdm and a striker and a decent cb, look at bayern benatia, boateng, martinez, dante all being played at cb but our only decent cb is kos, its not good enough i like mert but he ai nt gonna help us win the league, would love arsene to finish this season with at least 1 more trophy and then try bring
in pep guardiola he's the only manager similar to arsenal's style but i think he would need a promise from the board for big funds
Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions on the pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this club... regardless of those
who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase
in our club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing
in one or two individuals... this team needs fundamental change
in the way it conducts business both on and off the pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act on Friday evening, as it stands, this club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of
others to secure our place
in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed
in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our
squad, none of our world class
players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
The

I think the signing of both of these
players would be a great boost for us for the coming season Cavani has undeniable class but can't see Wenger going for a striker this summer considering that we only bought Welbeck not even a year ago, I think we should go for Marco Reus as our now customary (or so they would have us believe) marquee signing of the summer and promote from within to fill some of the
other gaps
in our
squad, except for maybe CDM as we lack rotation
in this area, but our very own Le Coq shows what promotion from within can achieve, he is just one of many
players to come through the ranks to command a spot
in our starting XI, such as Bellerin those 2 seem like almost the first names on the team sheet nowadays
who would have thought that 1 year ago or even 6 months ago?
Apart from theo He's the only

That's what Arsenal should've done with the many

Although Arsene Wenger brought
in other attacking
players such as Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck,
who have both started brightly since moving to the Emirates Stadium, it is thought that the Frenchman is unhappy with the likes of Tomas Rosicky, Joel Campbell and Lukas Podolski as
squad options, with the latter now set to be offered to Schalke as a makeweight
in this deal.
England,

Local London rivals West Ham are also looking to add to their physical
squad and Giroud should be able to fit
in with their style as he too is a main man up front
who can look to hold the ball that helps
other players get into the game and into decent positions.
It hurts me as a true loving fun of Arsenal far away back here
in Ghana. The pending current setbacks of our darling club is disheartening
in the sense that, Mr Kroenke as the major shareholder should compare Arsenal to
other big clubs
in europe on how they achieve their goals by investing
in players and
other managerial aspects. He should change his way of thinking about making profit out of the club rather, spending should be his priority. You can never have a competitive
squad without improving on the
players you have by adding new
players who are enough to compete rather than selling the few talents that you already have, this will never help.
Scott is the only current member of either
