Other standard equipment includes a 12 - inch all - digital LCD instrument cluster, identical in function to the cluster introduced on the all - new Mustang that goes on sale across Europe later this year, but with a unique Bullitt welcome screen that starts in green with an image of the
car rather than the
pony.
The Ford Mustang — already thoroughly refreshed for the 2018 model year — has been tweaked a tad yet again, gaining new colors, an available B&O Play audio system, and a couple of
other options to help the Blue Oval
pony car claw its way back to the top of the sales charts in the US.
The refreshed, 2018 Ford Mustang GT is available now, and in addition to the natural - aspiration performance parts offered by JLT Performance, Corsa Performance, and
others, there is already at least one complete supercharger package available from Roush, capable of taking the
pony car up to 700 horsepower.
The hood of Ford's latest
pony car sits lower at the front, contributing to a lower coefficient of drag, and Ford engineers contributed hundreds of hours over the past several years to help improve the
car's aerodynamic performance in
other ways.
And, yes, more power is always welcome, but we have to remember that this little direct - injected four - cylinder is rated at 138 hp, which ties it for having the most power in the B - segment when you consider the nonperformance - focused competition in the class, which means excluding the 197 - hp Ford Fiesta ST.. The

ponies, too, are the Accent's cousin
