other radioactive elements (as well as toxic heavy metals such as arsenic and mercury) is even higher — and McArthur River's uranium is much less concentrated than the mines of the past like
nearby Rabbit Lake or Shinkolobwe in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's Katanga Province.
