The event was a culmination of a joint initiative of the Senate President and DFID's ENABLE 2 and GEMS 3 programmes and had been preceded by a comprehensive
research into laws inhibiting businesses in Nigeria leading to specific legislative proposals to improve the business environment in terms of competition and consumer protection, transportation and infrastructure, improving MSMEs access to finance, reform of land use and construction laws and
administration, doing business reforms amongst
others.
One major area of interest was the
administration's plan to inject $ 1 billion in state funds into Buffalo - area factories,
research facilities and
other projects, known together as the Buffalo Billion.
Cuomo
administration officials said that once the state had received permission from the federal government to pursue marijuana as an investigational drug, hospitals would be given the same protections they have for any
other research.

While Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have sought hands - on assistance with grant review and
administration from the
Research Competitiveness Program,
others have participated in more wide - ranging discussions through a meeting series organized by the AAAS Center for Science, Technology and Security Policy (CSTSP).
I jumped head first into the deep end of grants
administration, developing a new
research program, interacting with
other foundations and the scientific community, donor relations, strategic planning, board relations, business negotiations, fundraising, and more.
The
research has made it possible to develop a very thin, practically transparent insert which is easily adhered to the ocular mucosa, providing larger concentrations of moxifloxacin through the cornea than
other administration formats currently commercialised, such as orally.
