For the record, I spent approximately 15 hours of this game swimming in ridiculous plot twists, evil villains twisting their metaphorical mustaches and ridiculous one - liners explaining how Shulk and his friends will overcome all obstacles using friendship and love and
other ridiculous notions.

There's no denying that the early Christian apologists (Justin Martyr and
others) made up that whacky «diabolical mimicry»
notion — saying the the devil caused what looks like plagiarism in reverse; so it's pretty obvious those old Xtians were trying to explain away something that would normally look
ridiculous.
There is also the
ridiculous notion that no one else wanted Cech, despite the media telling us many times that it was the keeper's own decision to choose Arsenal over PSG and
other clubs.
It's weird to me because 50 % of what this guy said was absolute bullshit (ie: creatine as good as steroids, kali muscle being natural, or the
ridiculous notion that they actually drug - test WWF wrestlers) but the
other 50 % of what he said was the god's honest truth.
I don't blame Ubisoft as much as I blame this
ridiculous notion that a game being anything
other then 1080p 60 fps makes it not worth playing and worth whining about.
Others, notably politicians, see rewards for conforming to green faith hence their pursuit of the
