They're fuss - free and easy to pair with outfits and
other pieces of jewellery making it a must for this
season's
wardrobe.
I really want to try and create a capsule
wardrobe for the different
seasons, and I think seeing what
other people are wearing definitely helps me get a better idea of items that I would wear more often!
When I buy something I want to be sure I can get as much wear out if it as possible, so
other than the obvious summer pieces like denim shorts and sandals I pretty much wear everything in my
wardrobe no matter the
season.

I mean, with all of the chaos and FUN that the
season brings, let's at least have a few pieces in the
wardrobe for occasions where you have 7 minutes to get ready while kids, dogs, significant
other (all of the above) hang on your leg.
When some retailers put out new clothes every few weeks, and
others copy runway styles much, much faster than ever before, it feels even more like you should find your own style, rather than be a slave to trends and replace your entire
wardrobe every
season.

season gives me a chance to revamp my
wardrobe and although I am definitely no fashionista by any means compared to some of the
other bloggers out there, I do think that my style is approachable, reasonable, and affordable for the everyday girl.
And I also know that half of you come here to build your capsule
wardrobes and make the most of what you have while the
other half (and I'm sure there's overlap too) are here for the trends and to know what to add to your
wardrobe each
season to keep things fresh.
But living in New England, my fall
wardrobe has to be sliiiightly more varied than that of
other seasons, with a high of 72 degrees today — for example — but it being a crisp 41 when I left my apartment this morning.
With so many choices to incorporate velvet in your
wardrobe, it will be exciting to see how the trend will transition into
other season's trickling into 2018!
With only a few days left of the Aussie summer I'm feeling torn whether I want the
season to be over so I can wear the
other half of my
wardrobe, or if I would forever love to live in a warm climate.
