method of potty
training worked for Jonah, but I used a few of your tips for
other little things - like getting Jonah to
sleep in his own bed - and I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

method can take longer than
others, you will need to dedicate your evenings consistently to
sleep training your child until the process has been completed.
Other methods are called «no - cry»
sleep training methods, and the idea is to get the baby gradually used to
sleeping on their own, but without letting the baby cry for any length of time.
If you choose this
method, be ready to spend a few more weeks or even months on
sleep training than
other methods.
When I first read about
sleep training (when baby was about five months old), I was horrified at the thought, but at first I could only find supportive descriptions of it, or rather of different
methods of controlled crying, mostly involving some presence in the room (for example, sitting next to the cot, then a couple of days later sitting next to the door, sitting at the
other side of the open door, & c.).
