teams Played
on the same
pitch but one
team plays
on that
pitch all the time, it was deliberate for Besiktas to play
on a like that, its not up to standard, the idea is to have an advantage over
other teams.
Atleast all our players would have had to know every
other players style
on the
pitch of play not in the training ground, i used to say akb but honestly wenger is not acting like the acronym, something has to happen the man has got to wake up or step down, but im scared of change cos it is like a gamble, a new coach with a new philosophy and style, it might take time to adapt and that time would be enough for
other teams to step up thus demoralsing the club, both fans and board, wouldn't like us to do a porchettino, look at Liverpool, if its gona be a new coach its got ta be one of em arsenal ol boys, who knows what it is like to be called a gooner, that's just my thought
on this matter,

So bearing in mind nearly all the whining
on here involves the alleged lack of quality in nearly every
other position
on the
pitch other than those occupied by AR / MO (LW / ST / CDM / LB / GK / CB etc) your idea to improve the
team would be to sell Ramsey and / or Ozil and buy Fabregas, a player who f**ked off when we needed him and came crawling back expecting royal treatment after his Barca love affair went tits up.
Playing
on the Navy
team, Max had to
pitch against none
other than Joe DiMaggio.
Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard of a
team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice
on and off the
pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced
other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
Wenger needs to buy world class in January I don't mean Andre santos or Kim kallstrom a 20mill + cdm and cb would do fit the bill and some new fitness staff because ours have been
on holiday for the past couple years every
other team seems to have there full starting 11
on the
pitch at least once in a season we are lucky if we get 7 of our starting 11 if we're lucky

pitches, probably plays havoc with the players limbs and muscles, thus injuries are frequent the

This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago...
on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender
on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive
on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national
team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities
on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role
on the
pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third...
on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National
team's midfield, where
teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily
on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are
on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay
on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen
on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this
team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the
other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this
team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits

team (not the Cardinals) and my work

I think gmv8 is right, there is something sinister going
on behind the scenes, the way the
team played today wasn't just usual wenger's fault, yes his time is up and he needs to retire but i think there is more to the
team than we know, players weren't communicating with each
other on the
pitch, they weren't caring about the game at all, at one of the goals i saw ramsey was talking to another player and not giving a damn about the game at all, there is some internal crisis between players, some probably hate each
other, the defenders and the midfield lost the ball too much that it seemed they are doing it deliberately, some players seem to want out but not gone yet that makes me think they want out not because of money or the club but because they hate each
other, specially Ox and Sanchez!!

i know that we need to keep both players, their importance to the
team should be reflected in their wages, i'd like to see them get between 200 000/250 000 a week but they shouldn't hold us to ransom and ask for 300 000 like i read somewhere also they shouldn't take into account the reasons why they've been playing well (very well i should say) the fact that they are at the right club playing under a manager who gives them the freedom to express themselves
on the
pitch, teammates that respect them and see them as their leaders they must enjoy leading the
team and the way our
team plays its football, i think right now both the players and the club suit each
other and the best outcome for all parties (including fans) would be to agree
on contracts that satisfy everyone!!

on pitch side but i can see
other teams players fighting like there lifes depend
on it and when i see our
team give up so easy im just so disappointed.
Although it will be incredibly difficult to ever match his contributions
on the
pitch, it's vitally important for a former club legend, like Henry, to publicly address his concerns regarding the direction of this club... regardless of those who still feel that Henry has some sort of agenda due to the backlash he received following earlier comments he made
on air regarding Arsenal, he has an intimate understanding of the game, he knows the fans are being hosed and he feels some sense of obligation, both professionally and personally, to tell it like he sees it... much like I've continually expressed over the last couple months, this
team isn't evolving under this current ownership / management
team... instead we are currently experiencing a «stagnant» phase in our club's storied history... a fact that can't be hidden by simply changing the formation or bringing in one or two individuals... this
team needs fundamental change in the way it conducts business both
on and off the
pitch or it will continue to slowly devolve into a second tier club... regardless of the euphoria surrounding our escape act
on Friday evening, as it stands, this club is more likely to be fighting for a Europa League spot for the foreseeable future than a top 4 finish... we can't hope for the failures of
others to secure our place in the top 4, we need to be the manufacturers of our own success by doing whatever is necessary to evolve as an organization... if Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke can't take the necessary steps following the debacle they manufactured last season, their removal is imperative for our future success... unfortunately, I strongly believe that either they don't know how to proceed in the present economic climate or they are unwilling to do whatever it takes to turn this ship around... just look at the current state of our squad, none of our world class players are under contract beyond this season, we have a ridiculous wage bill considering the results, we can't sell our deadwood because we've mismanaged our personnel decisions and contractual obligations, we haven't properly cultivated our younger talent and we might have become one of the worst clubs ever when it comes to way we handle our transfer business, which under Dein was one of our greatest assets... it's time to get things right!!!
BTW:
other teams are praying to have their injured key stars back
on the
pitch in time so they could pick up form... But its only at Arsenal dat a player would be out for abt 6 months, returns to training 8 months Later and join d 1st

It's brought a new light to the

I was talking to someone the
other day and I said that if you put Tottenham's best 11 that they can get

Coaches are paid to produce results
on the
pitch and yo win trophies for the
team.If a coach fails those basic things then he is not go enough and must leave.Sucess or failure comes down to the decisions of the coach ranging from decisions in the transfer market, training methods,
team selection, tactics etc.Looking @ the transfer market - Wenger has a shambolic record - failure to act decisively and always acting when it's too late, selling our top players to rival clubs, leaving
other positions thin and reinforcing wrong positions especially buying lots of attacking midfielders ignoring defensive positions and failing to buy top class strikers or decent strikers. If Wenger is really serious about winning trophies would he buy a player like Welbeck a fourth choice play at Man United whom Vaan Gaal said is only good for the bench and now he plays every game at Arsenal. Why sell Vemaleen and buy Chambers?

Best way to play
teams like Burnley who pack the bus is to get 3 of our best players Alexis, Ozil and Iwobi play the quick passing game from the wings thereby drawing 5 players from the opposition to them leaving the
other end of the
pitch open for a long ball towards an
on - rushing player (Bellerin or Monreal) to pounce
on and probably score themselves or a pass to any available midfielders to pounce and shot.

other on the

It almost seems strange to predict a low scoring affair when you consider the wealth of attacking talent that will be
on show in both
teams, but tactics could play a prominent role in this match, as both managers are full of respect for each
other, and that should tell
on the
pitch.
«After a decade or more in which the elite clubs have had a lock
on the title, it's been so refreshing to see

pitch management, to upset the status quo.

other pitch next door, we were to see two changes from the

Every
other average player comes into the
team and we still atleast look decent
on the
pitch but with fellaini, its like playing with 10 men and hoping the eleventh produces a moment of magic which only happens one in ten times.
not Liverpool, and we sacrificed the CL top rank place for that. The pbm here now is: do u guys have any solution for the current issue?give some if you do.If u think u really love the club that much, then I think the best and the first responsability u have to take is to figure out what is actually going wrong and what is the solution.Otherways there is no point to criticise each
other here at all.All of these guys all love the club, thts why they spend their time writtin here.OUR
