Watching a lecture by the Physicist Lawrence Krauss, I was struck by the idea that in 100 billion years, there will be no cosmic microwave background and you will look out into the sky with a
telescope and only
see our galaxy (all
other galaxies now being so far beyond the «horizon» as to be undetectable).
