To get value equivalent to bonuses that
other travel cards offer, you should use these awards towards hotel rooms that would otherwise cost at least $ 200 a night.
Unlike
many other travel cards, you also aren't limited to flying with certain airlines or booking travel through a card issuer's portal.
If you're interested in a more modest option or a card that can be used to save money on travel, take a look
at other travel cards.

You can travel anytime you want with this flexible travel card: The Bank of America Travel Rewards Credit Card sets itself apart
from other travel cards by doing away with restrictive travel policies and letting you book your rewards - funded travel yourself.
The Barclays Arrival ® Premier World Elite Mastercard ®'s yearly loyalty bonuses make it a great card in terms of long term value - it's a unique feature that we haven't found
in other travel cards.
This may not be important to you if you only stay in the United States but it is a nice feature that many
other travel cards don't have yet.
The Capital One Venture card is often shamed and overlooked
for other travel cards offered by Chase, Citi, and American Express, but that shouldn't be the case.
However, if you want more redemption options and are willing to put in some effort to make sure you are getting a good rewards value, then you should
consider other travel cards, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred ® Card.
In absence of those loyalties,
select other travel cards offering better earning potential and more flexible redemption options.
I use three
other travel cards where you can redeem towards any travel like this card and have never had any problems redeeming for all sorts of travel with the taxes included (they just look at the total amount posted to the statement)

Although it may not be as visible
as other travel cards, the US Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards card comes with a full suite of benefits of its own.
From what I've seen, the Citi ThankYou Premier Card is pretty generous about providing you with bonus points, points for purchases as well as miles, and additional benefits, but as
with other travel cards, it comes with a bit of a cost (annual fee) that is waived for the first year.
Also, unlike
many other travel cards, the Luxury Card Gold MasterCard has no travel rewards partners, and points can only be used for airline travel, not hotels or rental cars.
And
unlike other travel cards that offer miles, you can redeem for cash with your Quicksilver card at any time in any denomination.
Its $ 250 value welcome bonus is a very competitive offer, especially given the waived annual fee, but beyond that,
other travel cards offer better value by allowing you to earn more points in the long term.
We would recommend Discover it ® Miles over other credit cards only if you are looking for a simple travel rewards credit card for the long term (as in, you're not tempted by the bonus offers from
these other travel cards).
While
some other travel cards might have the potential for more total rewards earnings, the Capital One ® Venture ® Rewards Credit Card offers a simple way to get travel rewards and has a low annual fee.
Limited number of hotels eligible for points redemption; although this is fair as The Starwood Preferred Guest ® from American Express is a co-branded credit card,
some other travel cards have a wider range of partnering hotel brands.
Looks like American Express for sure, since they already issue the Starwood Preferred Guest credit card plus
other travel cards.
