Dr. Lorraine McDonnell, University of California, Santa Barbara, will discuss how research was integrated
with other types of evidence in developing the Common Core, and what the CCSS experience suggests for how research might be more effectively used in policy deliberations.
These other interpretations
employ other types of evidence: oral history, the evolution of plants and animals, archaeology, stones, tools and weapons, material artefacts of all kinds, song, poetry, even dance and body movement, Antarctic ice, radio - activity, all these open windows into the past.
From a litigation standpoint, the electronic communications and information discussed above are discoverable under the same conditions and in the same ways
as other types of evidence.
There is absolutely NO scientific, medical, psychological, or
any other type of evidence to support that assertion.
This may involve going over eyewitness accounts, police reports, traffic videos, and
other types of evidence.
But ethical and practical considerations rule this out, so we're left with
other types of evidence.
