Gluten free means one has taken the time to alter ingredients in a bread, a dessert, or
any other wheat recipe, into an edible gluten free recipe.

Sprouted breads are made with sprouted grains (
wheat, barley and millet, among
others) that are mashed, ground and added to bread
recipes instead of flour.
Calcium, iron and B12 are
other disputed nutrients among vegan diets and you'll be pleased to note that this

I use white spelt flour for a lot of my
recipes (gluten free but not
wheat free if you have Celiac Disease or
other wheat allergies).
It is the foundation of my mixes and any of my
recipes calling for flour can be made with it, but it also allows you to return to your grandmother's
recipes or
other favorite
wheat - based
recipes and bake them gluten free.
The 75
recipes, primarily of the dessert / baking genre, are sorted by grain — with chapters devoted to buckwheat, whole
wheat, quinoa, rye, even corn and 7

Also, when using a whole

wheat flour isn't as assertive tasting as it is in some
recipes, and they maintain the identity of a cookie which happens to have healthy ingredients, rather than tasting like health food.
I've tried
other loaf
recipes without
wheat gluten but it's not the same.
I've tried this
recipe with
other gluten - free flours and it didn't end up red at all, so I'm afraid whole
wheat flour will do the same.
I've read many times that nuts such as almonds and many
others are hard to digest like
wheat so it's best to soak them before using in a
recipe such as almond milk.
Once I got the correct procedure down, I was able to create a number of
recipes for a variety of quick breads, muffins, pancakes, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and
other products that tasted every bit as good as those made using
wheat flour.
if you see this in a
recipe after the ingredient flour -(I used sprouted spelt, but whole
wheat or some
other flour would work too), any flour would work, so rice flour, or which ever gluten free flour you like to work with.
We don't eat
wheat in our household, and I've tried a few
other recipes, these are my favorite.

Shepard cautions people that her flour is designed to work on a 1 - to - 1 exchange with
wheat flour in «normal»
recipes and that substituting her blend in
recipes calling for
other gluten - free flours might not yield good results since many
recipes compensate for the bad taste of the gluten - free flour by adding extra sugar and butter.

I haven't tried spelt in this particular
recipe, but I often swap out it and whole
wheat pastry in similar
recipes when I've got one or the
other on hand and I've never had a problem.
For great results, substitute King Arthur Gluten - Free Measure for Measure Flour for the whole
wheat flour in this
recipe; no
other changes needed.
Great
recipe, especially if you want to use the tofu to mix with
other things like vegetables or even
wheat pasta.
Maple Cinnamon Almond Butter Sauce This
recipe is definitely more of a sauce than the
others on this list, but that makes it perfect for mixing into smoothies or pouring over whole -

You can use this flour in any
