Get permission from your landlord to paint the cabinetry and swap
out the cabinet hardware.
Changing
out cabinet hardware is an inexpensive way to change the look of the kitchen.
Here are some options if you have less than $ 1,000 to spend: paint your kitchen cabinets and walls, replace outdated lighting with new fixtures, buy a new bathroom vanity on sale at a site like Wayfair.com and install it yourself, change
out your cabinet hardware and swap that Formica surface for a new quartz counter (this could run you over $ 1,000 but it may be worth it if your counter looks like an episode of The Brady Bunch).
But ask me to pick
out cabinet hardware finishes, and suddenly I freeze.
Of course, it would have been easier to pick
out the cabinet hardware when picking out the cabinets themselves... but it didn't even occur to me at the time.

cabinet hardware, replaced the sink and range / hood, replaced a single wall oven with a double one, added granite tile kitchen countertops, added a beadboard backsplash, replaced a few light fixtures, added a chair rail in the dining room, added crown moulding in the living room and dining room, and painted lots of rooms.
Mounting the
cabinet hardware horizontally instead of vertically visually aligns the uppers with the lowers, which are mostly drawers, except for the pull
out racks beside the stove.

I have that Delta faucet and your exact
cabinet hardware, I also just received our island pendant lights (clear glass) and I'm slightly freaking
out over how all of the shades of «brass» are different.
We were also adding glass doors to a full wall of
cabinets, and of course changing
out all of the
hardware, with holes needing to be filled and placing moved.
Also switched
out all the
hardware, this process drove me nuts I probably ordered about 20 different pulls because I so wanted cup pulls but in the end our
cabinets have so much detail that a simple sleek pull complimented them so much better.
