out crunchiness.

I lined a large wicker basket with the cookies, going heavy on the sprinkled variety as I knew they would be popular with the young ones, and set
out ice cream scoops, ice cream, and the candy - covered pie plates, which were just large enough to allow for rolling the edges of the cookie into a sweet coating that added some nice
crunchiness to the sandwich.
Well, even when the mulberries begin to dry
out, they are still tasty, they just develop a slight
crunchiness... not unpleasant, but not as fresh tasting, either.
Just wanted to add that I made these in a * mini * muffin pan and at 13 minutes they came
out soft on the outside, no crust effect (good for teeny kids), and at 16 minutes they started to have a little
crunchiness on the outside (nice for adults if eating hot).
I am wondering the same thing about rolling them
out and also if it's necessary to use the chopped almonds... my kids would prefer there to not be any
crunchiness.
I've never liked the very white, very fluffy buns that most burger places tend to offer, as I think the bun should have structure and
crunchiness, but not too much so that it doesn't take
out the attention from the actual food, as I'm a fan of having a lot toppings (which you can see from the photos I guess).
Roasting brings
out the richness of the beets and cabbage; the kale addition lends
crunchiness due to it's roasting.
