For an easy way to make your own crispy tofu at home, simply do the following: (1) press a 14 or 16 ounce block
of extra firm tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water (lay tofu on a cutting board, top with lots
of paper towels, and then top with a heavy book or pot); (2) chop the tofu into cubes; (3) toss tofu with 1 1/2 tablespoons
of coconut aminos (or soy sauce or tamari) along with 1 tablespoon melted
coconut oil and red chili flakes; (4) add in 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch and toss to coat; (5) spread tofu cubes
out on a parchment paper - lined baking tray; (5) Bake at 400 degrees Farenheit for 25 minutes until crispy and golden on the outside, tossing halfway through cooking time.
I saw one question that was brought up, that said that almond flour and
coconut flour are used for different reasons and connot be interchanged, so is there anything
out there that can be used in replace
of coconut oil,
coconut flour,
coconut aminos, and
coconut crystals that will still make the recipes come
out good?
If you prefer to keep soy
out of your diet,
coconut aminos makes a great substitute.
I took a frozen wild salmon filet
out of the freezer, topped it with
coconut aminos (a soy free, wheat free version
of soy sauce) and some garlic, and baked it at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
Drain all the water
out of the cans and then replace it with the
coconut aminos.
If you use 100 % grass feed beef, add an additional tbs
of coconut aminos, and allow it to marinate for the day it will turn
out perfect.

amino acids, as well as a few others to help our bodies
out.
We also get a bit
of sweetness from honey and
coconut aminos, which is balanced
out by the strong and savory flavors

out for soy) 1 tsp Fish Sauce (Red Boat) 1 Tbs Rice Wine Vinegar 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp Sriracha (or favorite spice add — red pepper flakes, etc.) 1 tsp toasted sesame oil 1 tip
of thumb sized piece
of ginger, grated finely Optional 1 Tbs Arrowroot (if using, mix with
coconut aminos first)
Some things to watch
out for are the use
of soy sauce which is easily substituted with
Coconut Amino's.
