Oh, I found cocoa
powder easiest to mix in by shaking — I'll put it into a small jar with some
of the «
milk», cap it, shake it up, pour it
out, and then pour in the rest
of the
milk into the jar (to clean
out any cocoa left behind), cap, shake, pour
out, done!
I took the glaze
out of saucepan and put it in a different bowl, added a bit more
powdered sugar (to soak up the butter,) and then added some
milk until it was a true glaze.
If protein
powder isn't your thing, you can sub in half or all
of the
milk with greek yogurt for your protein boost, and if you're having this smoothie as a snack rather than a meal, you can just leave the protein
powder out entirely.
Cream room temperature butter and brown sugar together for 5 — 8 minutes / Add egg &
milk mixture (w / extracts) a little at a time until fully incorporated / By hand or with mixer on lowest speed, alternately add flour and buttermilk until just incorporated — don't overmix at this point for the tenderest cake / By hand gently stir in 2 — 3 cups

out of almond & coconut
milk on one
of my many attempts at baking this, so i used 1/3 c water mixed with 1/3 scoop vanilla protein
powder and mixed it in a shaker bottle to make my own «vanilla
milk»... it worked great!
Line muffin pan with paper liners - In the bowl
of an electric mixer, whisk together the coconut
milk, sugar, oil, and vanilla extract - In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, almond meal, cocoa
powder, baking soda, baking
powder, and salt - With the mixer on low - speed, slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet until mixture is uniform and smooth (do not overmix)- Pour batter in liners, filling cups no more than 2/3 full - Bake 18 - 20 inutes, or until cake tester comes
out clean - Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely
But while I do love malt, I usually can't seem to get through an entire container
of malted
milk powder, so I decided not to go
out and buy it just for one recipe.
Try our goat
milk powder sprinkled over cereal or oatmeal, in baked goods, or right
out of the glass!
If you really press all
of the
milk out, you will have dry
powder instead
of moist clumps.
Instead add the three main ingredients in instant mix (cornstarch,
milk powder, and granulated sugar) individually, followed by a full tablespoon
of vanilla extract to round everything
out and give these cookies a classic pudding flavor.
Since I never say no to more chocolate, I used both melted dark chocolate and dark chocolate cocoa
powder in the batter, then mixed in some
milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chunks (over the weekend, I found
out I had approximately 19 half - used bags
of chocolate chips in my kitchen cabinet, and this recipe was the perfect way to put some

I use unsweetened original almond
milk, solid coconut oil, and have even used 1/2 baking soda 1/2 baking
powder because I didn't have a whole tablespoon
of baking
powder at the time - still turn
out great!
For the next batch I added ginger
powder cos I had run
out of the sweet sticky ginger, and some
milk and so the mixture was much more sloppy.
I did make a few substitutions though, because I lacked some ingredients: half & half for
milk,
powdered swerve for sugar and butter for coconut oil, and ended up having to add another tablespoon
of coconut flour, and they turned
out perfectly fluffy and delicious.

milk, paleo bread etc, if I add all organic hemp
powder, flaxseed (made in the vitamix) and chia seed to things, would that balance
out the omega 6's to the omega 3's?
