This week, I wanted to re-create my favorite Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor, making it
vegan (though B&J came
out with their own non-dairy ice cream, which
is so awesome) and nutritious with the addition
of a few energizing superfoods.
The
vegan cheesy chipotle sauce
is out -
of - this - world delicious and simple, and if you don't want to bother with making sweet potato chips, please give this sauce a try on regular tortilla chip nachos, I have a feeling you'll really love it:) Wishing everyone peace, health and warmth as we ring in the New Year!

In Tuscany it
is common to add some day - old bread and a few slices
of Parmesan to it, but if you
are vegan or gluten intolerant they can
be left
out.

vegan - friendly options at a lot
of restaurants, not to mention a rise in restaurants that specifically cater to the
vegan diet, it can still
be tough
out there.
I haven't tried the recipe yet but I
'm aware that freezing tofu can give it a nice chewy texture (an awesome Asian
vegan restaurant in Worcester, Ma makes all their meat substitutes
out of tofu and I
'm pretty sure this
is part
of their method — they speak very bad English so I've never asked).
Eating
out when you
're the only one
of your friends who
is a raw
vegan usually means
being limited to plates
of lettuce topped with sprinklings
of social awkwardness.

is from a local restaurant, and the most I could get

is that the secret
is «roasted veggies,» no cashews or nuts involved.
So I
'm in the middle
of preparing cupcakes to sell
out of a tea shop in Utah, I made these 100 %
Vegan, and they came
out delishes!!
I used 9 tbsp
of liquid from a can
of chickpeas to replace 3 egg whites as I
am vegan and it came
out v well (this
is an amazing trend I have recently caught on to, it even makes great meringues!).

vegan butter I used probably wasn't even necessary — I just happened to run
out of nut butter, and the last bits weren't really sticking together, so that did the trick.
