After what feels like an eternity (measured in chilly morning commutes), the time to bust
out of boot season is nearly here.
Once we're
out of boot season though, I'll be super happy to be able to throw on a pair of flares with wedges!

of the spooky stuff.

out my cozy clothes and warm

of seasons, but you're lying if you haven't been looking longingly back and forth from your ankle

out.

Where the world
of boots seems to have found its pillar categories (i.e. lampshade worthy Stuart Weitzman thigh - highs, the classic chunky - heeled ankle
boot, the casual Chelsea), I've yet to find anything this
season that really stands
out.

Most
boots sold during the fall and winter
seasons are made
of materials that are meant to keep you warm, and even if they are not, they are made with enough room for you to slip those must have leg warmers on to fill
out the
boots and to keep your legs warm in the meantime.
This shirtdress was a favorite throughout the summer months and I wanted to wear it the other day, so I threw on a sweater and a belt to add some shape, wore a pair
of tights (the first time this
season) and borrowed a pair
of my husbands tall thick wool socks to wear under my
boots, but love how they stick
out the top and the grey wool ties the socks and sweater together.
To
boot, Left Behind wielded some genre thrills, a familiar brand (the Kirk Cameron version camped
