Leave the
chocolate to cool

I'm trying to get off wheat and sugar, so I've been loikong
for a starter recipe using almond flour, this one turned
out pretty well, despite a lot
of substitutions I used half chickpea flour, I added cocoa instead
of chocolate chips, subbed earth balance
for the fat and sweetened with a little coconut sugar and stevia.
Most recipes
for chocolate kale chips I've seen use nuts — but I wanted a nut free simplified version
of what's
out there.
Once it is coated, pick it up
out of the
chocolate with the forks and hold it over the melted bowl
of chocolate for a few seconds to all the excess to drip off.
I like to throw a handful
of chocolate chips into the batter
for extra-fudgy brownies, but you could add nuts instead or leave
out the mix - ins completely.
A tip
for coating with
chocolate chips... add in a little bit
of shortening it helps smooth it
out for coating.
