I have actually gotten to a point that I can go in and
out of Ketosis as I need and able to keep my metabolism and endocrine system in great balance all the while, simply by understanding my nutritional needs and realizing what works, not what many others say?
Well eating too much protein can kick
you out of ketosis as the body will start converting excessive protein to glucose.

Hi Peter, I'd like to ask about your cycling in and
out of ketosis — usually within a 24h period
as you state.
I've noticed the carbs I can take before getting kicked
out of ketosis can be
as high
as 60 - 80 gm but less than 10 gm can trigger inflammation, and its sometimes not even net carbs.
Consuming a small amount
of BCAAs while working
out fasted will probably have a negligible effect on the fast
as you'll dip straight back into fasting
ketosis right after the workout.
Don't go overboard on them though
as too much protein will throw you
out of Ketosis.
If you get too much protein, your body is going to start converting the excess into glucose just
as it does with carbs and keep you
out of ketosis.
Were the carbs strategically implemented pre / post long workouts
as to not throw her
out of nutritional
ketosis.
That is I still struggle mentally removing unprocessed, natural foods such
as pumpkin, banana, stone fruits and perhaps more modern items such
as oats and rice which would take you
out of ketosis quite easily when these were consumed.

For the record, unless there's a neurodegenerative, mood and / or memory condition on board, I don't think we all need to be on a ketogenic diet, nor do we all need to remain in
ketosis for extended periods
of time; however, I do think we need to slip in and
out of ketosis on a regular basis... just
as our early ancestors would have done.

What's your take on maybe you know smaller amounts
of collagen maybe in your coffee or to your — to your water, throwing in your smoothie
as a way
of getting some protein in but not enough to throw you
out of ketosis.
I am not familiar with the pruvit diet, but when I researched their site, it seems like they are basically promoting a ketogenic diet (though they state you can eat
as much
of many high protein foods
as you like, which would push one
out of ketosis) but they also recommend supplementing with exogenous ketones.
If you come
out of a
ketosis state, the saturated fat could go to the wrong places vs. being burned
as fuel.
Things you need to consider is not to eat too much
as it can keep you
out of ketosis.
Diet sodas contain artificial sweeteners and aspartame which can have many adverse effects on the body; it's best to avoid
as it can throw you
out of ketosis with large amounts.
As a side note, it's fine to go in and
out of ketosis, and will naturally happen when you consume too many carbohydrates.
