A month after the Charlottetown Conference (aforementioned in yesterday's letter, click here to review yesterday's
post), the existing
provinces all met at the Quebec Conference to try and hash
out a constitutional framework for the impending nation
of Canada.1 This was where federalism, or the division
of powers between the federal and provincial governments, became a focal point
of discussion.
In particular the greatest uproar is regarding «mere» listings, (in and
out of province) calls on them not returned, sellers being inconvenienced, buyer reps having to negotiate directly with the owner (before showing) and having to get signatures in place as to how or if pay is possible... it about doubles the work, but as stated in another
post we are REQUIRED to show them.
