salt out of sea water with boilers and kettles but without incurring the bloated carbon footprint
of fossil fuels, which would betray the green ideals
of his customer base.

The whole batch with the olive oil and a bit

I have varied it to use 1C
of almond flour, and the rest is coconut flour, and I accidentally left
out the
sea salt the first time, and it was great regardless!
Make sure the carrots are evenly spread
out, this will increase surface area exposed and allow edges to crisp up and the maple syrup to caramelize, giving a beautiful finish to the carrots, a small pinch
of sea salt will also perfectly season the dish.
A sprinkling

Put the shredded potato on a few layers
of paper towel, sprinkle the potato with
sea salt then press paper towel over it, squeezing
out any extra moisture (if you want to use a kitchen towel, that's fine, but it will probably stain).
I ran
out of kosher
salt right after I ran
out of patience... I might have used

Other than swapping
out the cheese for my delicious vegan version and adding a sprinkling
of sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, the only other change I made to the directions was to soak the red onion in unsweetened soymilk for a few hours to temper some
of that peppery bite and strong aroma.
Spread
out a single layer
of kale onto a oven tray (you may need to do this in two - three batches) sprinkle a little
sea salt over the top and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, turning the leaves once during cooking if the outer ones are starting to brown too much.

My variations from the original recipe are that I use dried thyme and marjoram instead
of dill and rosemary (because I didn't have dill or rosemary on hand the first time I made it), and I worked

of sea salt is the right amount for our tastes.
