foods are
out of season, as their prices start to increase.
While poses to aid digestion are certainly warranted this time
of year, I find that what I need more than anything is a little energy boost to help get me
out of my
food coma and through the remainder
of the holiday
season.
Instead
of missing
out on these
foods and their important nutrients, I use the frozen variety (frozen berries are a delicious addition to oatmeal) or alter my recipes to include produce that is in
season (like these Pumpkin Walnut - Muffins).
I just love summer and all
of the
food and drinks that are
out there to celebrate the
season!
