If at all possible, I like to let my
bread machine to the mixing, kneading, and first rise
of the dough; I've written
out this recipe with that in mind.
SG — I am not that familiar with
bread machines because I don't have one, but part
of the problem might be that it didn't pick up the extra flour it would have each time it was pressed
out on the counter between risings.
My favorite
