out computing capability, storage, and networking from a massive bank
of shared infrastructure to companies
of all sizes.
Smart companies will tap
cloud computing and use it to create their own
clouds —
of professionals and experts and services — that they can offer to clients for lower prices and with better results than what's
out there now.
A few years ago, HP execs said the company would compete head on with Amazon Web Services in public
cloud computing, a model in which businesses rent
computing capacity from a provider like Amazon, Microsoft or Google (GOOG) rather than building

of their own data center capabilities.

of due diligence that people do on
Cloud computing.
