This entire project has my full attention: Pet Sematary is my favorite Stephen King novel, and while the 1989
film was a pretty solid

of details that were left

film about prostitution (The Girlfriend Experience), Soderbergh is a man who doesn't like repeating himself.
The third
film adaptation of Herman Koch's eponymous novel (following Menno Meyjes's 2013 «Het Diner» and Ivano De Matteo's 2014 «I nostri ragazzi»), Oren Moverman's «The Dinner» indeed plays
out like a European art thriller — perhaps one by Thomas Vinterberg (despite that he's Danish and Mr. Koch is Dutch).
But it says a lot that half way through the year, the
film that leaps to everyone's mind when sussing
out the best
of what we've seen is a comic book
adaptation.
It's easily my favorite
of Green's novels, and The Fault in Our Stars was a very faithful, well put together
adaptation, so I'm excited to see how this
film turns
out.
In what turned
out to be one
of the highlights at this year's CinemaCon was the stunning, 10 minute footage from Peter Jackson's new movie, the epic 3D
film adaptation of Tolkien's The Hobbit (which opens December 14) that was shot at a frame rate
of 48 per second achieving an unprecedented combination
