If you prefer smaller muffins,
just use a standard size 12 - cup muffin
pan and bake the muffins for 15 - 18 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle
of the muffins comes
out clean.
I
just took my two loaves
out of the loaf
pans and I had a lot
of condensation on the the bottom
of the
pans and the loaves were a bit soggy.
Cream room temperature butter and brown sugar together for 5 — 8 minutes / Add egg & milk mixture (w / extracts) a little at a time until fully incorporated / By hand or with mixer on lowest speed, alternately add flour and buttermilk until
just incorporated — don't overmix at this point for the tenderest cake / By hand gently stir in 2 — 3 cups
of rhubarb sauce so that it swirls through the batter / Place in a 9 - inch square or 10 - inch round
pan coated with
just a little butter and flour / Sprinkle evenly with chopped almonds (or, use local hazelnuts instead, or omit the nuts) / Bake at 325º for about an hour, until skewer comes
out clean when tested / Macrina Bakery dusts the cake with powdered sugar and coarsely chopped almonds / Cake is tender until completely cooled so handle with care.
I did not make it in a springform
pan for fear
of it dripping
out, and it worked
just fine in an oval dish the first time, a square one the next.
Depending on your oven, your
pan, and the exact size
of your muffin liners, bake these for about 18 - 22 minutes, until they are
just turning golden and a wooden toothpick comes
out clean.

If you're a college student,
just out of college, or
just starting on your own and need some cook - and bakeware (or even if you're an established cook, but need a
pan for a new recipe, and don't know that you'll be using it often enough to justify buying an expensive one), this seems to be a fine place to start as it is nonstick and very affordable.
Place the

of the preheated oven and bake
just until firm to the touch and a toothpick inserted in the center comes
out mostly clean (about 22 minutes if you haven't added the marshmallows, and 25 minute if you have).

out the dough onto a pizza
pan - it's okay if it doesn't go all the way to the edge

pan and a wooden skewer or toothpick inserted into the middle comes
out clean, 25 to 30 minutes.
I had so much fun with this part, and though some
of the leaves which I set too close to the edge
of the pie
pan drooped off a little, I'm
just a little in love with how it turned
out.
Cooked with small amount
of butter in a frying
pan on slightly higher med heat and they came
out as pictured (
just not as round after I flipped them).
Your polenta pizza can be
of any thickness you wish —
just spread it
out on the sheet
