of years affecting the work you both do, and how these new independents with
publishing contacts and skills will play
out in the workforce — both as literary agents and as independent editors — in the next few years?
As a publisher, my biggest concern is the clutter
of the books being put
out by the major
publishing houses along with those that are just put up directly by authors.
The odds
of this happening increases if you go with a smaller press or
publishing house — I cringe at the book covers some «publishers» are putting
out.

of thousands
of books without a major
publishing house — check

With the abundance
